About Us

Our Purpose

St. Anne CYO aims to youth sports and activities, with emphasis on fundamentals, sportsmanship, teamwork, inclusion, and Catholic values. Students attending St. Anne school, as well as students attending CCD with St. Anne Catholic Church, are eligible and welcome. 

 

St. Anne CYO provides youth sports and activities for the entire St. Anne community, with focus on the following areas: primary rules and fundamentals of the game, participation with teammates, sportsmanship, and team spirit. 

 

Participation in athletic events is to be considered primary. Competition and winning are by-products of participation and are to be considered secondary. 

 

Integrity, effort, and good sportsmanship are paramount. 

ATHLETICS

St. Anne CYO athletics are available to students attending St. Anne School and students attending CCD with St. Anne Catholic Church. Please see each individual sport for grade requirements. 

Cross Country

Open to boys and girls in grades kindergarten through eighth. Practices begin in Aug, with meets in Sept - Oct.

Division 1 (grades k - 2): 1/2 mile fun run

Division 2 (grades 3 - 4): 1 mile

Division 3 (grades 5 - 6): 1.5 miles

Division 4 (7 - 8): 2 miles

 

 

Volleyball

Open to girls in grades 4 - 8. Practices begin in August with games in September and October.

Basketball

Open to boys and girls in grades 3 - 12. 

Biddy (grades 3 - 4): Practices begin in Nov or Dec, with games in Jan and Feb. 

JV (grades 5 - 6): Practices begin Oct or Nov with games Dec - Feb

Varsity (grades 7 - 8): Practices begin Oct or Nov with games Dec - Feb

HS (grades 9 -12): Team formation is based on player interest and coaching.

 

Cheer

Open to grades 1 - 8. Practices begin in Dec with games in Jan and Feb

Track & Field

Open to boys and girls grades kindergarten - eighth. Practices begin in March with meets March - May. 

Get Involved

Become a part of St. Anne CYO and experience an enriching journey in sports and faith. CYO functions entirely on a volunteer basis, and many are needed to make our program successful!  We're excited to welcome you into our community!

*NEW for the 2025/2026 School Year*

Per new Diocese of Allentown directive, any and all volunteers MUST be cleared through our parish Safe Environment Coordinator, Mrs. Eileen Brida. This now includes (but is not limited to) all snack stand volunteers, score board operators, bookkeepers, and student volunteers (different requirements than adult clearances).  

Volunteers who are cleared through our parish Safe Environment Coordinator are ALWAYS needed! Please don't wait to obtain your clearance - start the process today!
